FULL COLOUR PRINTING?
Digital Printing, 4 Colour Process (CMYK)
Digital/CMYK printing allows for non-vector graphics (photographs such as .jpegs, .png, .tiff filetypes) to be printed in the quality they are supplied. This is also a good method of printing vector logos where gradients, tints and complex/many colours are used. For non vector graphics to be digitally/full colour printed we require them to be supplied at a minimum of 300dpi quality.
SPOT COLOUR PRINTING?
(1 Colour, 2 Colours, 3 Colours etc.)
When single colours are used for print, specific pantone colours need to be provided in order to ensure the colours you want to print are produced accurately. The use of pantone colours also means we can adhere to your brand colours and you can feel confident in receiving a quality printed product. Please note that only solid colours will print, any gradients (shading) or tints in a logo will be converted to solid block colours.
See below for our online pantone guide
Please note that the online guide is only approximate as the viewing of colours will vary depending on your computer screen colour set up.
Pantone® Color Chart PMS Colors Used For Printing |
Every colour has a Pantone Matching System (PMS) reference number. This is a system used throughout the industry to ensure any printer can match colours specified by any designer. The Branding Team use the PMS colour chart with all promotional merchandise, however, we are unable to guarantee a pantone match, as there is such a wide range of materials that are manufactured in metal, plastic, fabric, pvc, etc. We will make every effort to get as close as possible. If you are unsure of the colour(s) your branding needs to be printed in, please use the chart below. Then email your account manager with your selected pantone number(s). Please remember Pantone colours on computer screens may vary based on the graphics card and monitor used in your system.
